It was a Junior Library Guild selection, a 2008 Nebraska Golden Sower Award Honor Book, a Sunshine State Young Reader Award nominee, a Young Hoosier Book Award nominee, a Great Stone Face Award nominee, and a Keystone to Reading Book Award nominee.
The Clueless Girl's Guide to being a Genius
This book is under contract to be published by Dutton Children's Books in the Summer of 2011.

This short story was the 2001 Winner of the Antietam Review Literary Contest and was published in Antietam Review, vol. 22.
